Con men selling snake oil to you

So i'm at the train station you see, and the announcement comes that the next train is on time etc. There it is again, in a few mins again, that confident voice telling you its coming.
Then the time arrives but no train. Or announcement. Then behold, the next announcement. Confident as ever. So thats ok, its nothing to worry about.

And that is what i see everywhere. Con men and women. Saying things with such conviction that you believe.

But wait. Why not question?

Because to question singles you out. And as those people tell you, different is bad. So you conform.

Moo. Båa.

The truth is out there. Be a mulder. Dont be a scully.
