Friday and i'm relieved. A busy week of work and the nerves related to house buying have taken toll. Unfortunately i won't be able to relax this weekend.
Tonight i drive across town to pick up my sister so that tomorrow we can all go to a wedding exhibition. I then drop her off when its done and on sunday finalise how i am going to pay a whopping 5figure sum in convayance fees. The fact that I've yet to find a solicitor is something else!
At least i found a surveyor who is doing his thing today.
Its cold right now. Another freeze arrived.

   Imagine what you're going through with buying your house.
   
   I do that...for a living. At any one time I have 20-30 clients all buying or remortgaging their houses. It's like being a therapist or social worker half the time....
   
   a word of advice - whatever you do don't pick the cheapest solicitor. Pick the best, it'll be money well spent.

   I'd appreciate it if you could expand on what a solicitor should do to make my purchase go smoothly.
   
   I've been asking about costs of various searches to make sure there are no major planned developments around the area.
